Nemar Cares Program

New Nemar marked April 8, 2011 an important date in our calendar as we launched our corporate social responsibility program dubbed as Nemar Cares.

 

Nemar Cares incorporates support for children with cancer, for the environment, and for our valued customers.

Because we care, we are supporting the kids of Cancer Warriors Foundation.

• The Cancer Warriors Foundation, an organization that aims to help children beat cancer, tops the list of New Nemar beneficiaries. For every motorcycle unit sold, a certain portion of the profit is allocated to the foundation.
• The corporation also sponsors outreach programs with the indigents and the street children. This initiative is anchored to the corporate mission and strong commitment to uplift the Filipinos’ way of life. In the future, New Nemar hopes to intensify its outreach programs to benefit a greater number of people and to introduce programs such as marathon and fun run to fitness buffs.

Because we care, no plastic bags to contribute to the environment.

• New Nemar’s advocacy to protect the environment is manifested on reinforcing the Go Green campaign of the municipalities where the branches are. The corporation stopped using plastics in bagging the spare parts.
• To save on paper and ink, the company also initiated paperless reports and memoranda. Everyone has access to e-mails, and reports are uploaded or sent for viewing using digital media. This is New Nemar’s own little way of conserving resources.
